A few words about us
We introduce ourselves
We are an Italian -Nepalese venture and we established Caffè Concerto in Pokhara over 2 decades ago, in 1987. Our vision is to recreate the simple and tasty dishes of our Italian heritage. In Italy we call our cuisine “cucina casalinga” a home-made style of cooking that is simple and authentic.
In our kitchen we make use of our own Organic Produce: our families have a long tradition of cultivating vegetables, fruits, wine grapes and even olive trees.
That inspired us to grow our own vegetables in a parcel of land where we exclusively use organic fertilizer. We are now well-know for our organic, flavorsome salads.

How it all came to be…
The ambience of our restaurant is warm and informal: the typical cut stone entrance, the slate roofing of the verandah and the wall niches are colored with earthy, warming colors such as ocher, white and red.
Mosaic works is visible on the lower walls and on our Round Fireplaces which are a distinctive feature of our décor and a wonderful means to keep our clients warm during winter.
We privilege playing Jazz, since its timeless soft and round beats are perfect for relaxing and enjoying a great meal.
